Professional Art Scanning and Printing Services
Museum-Quality Fine Art Reproduction
We offer a two-part workflow designed for artists who value accurate, high-fidelity art reproduction. Artwork is first scanned by our partner, RexDimensional, using a Cruse scanner, one of the most precise scanning systems available for fine art. Once digitized, files are transferred to 40 VISUALS for dimensional printing using the swissQprint Kudu, a state-of-the-art printer capable of applying raised varnish and ink layers that replicate surface texture with extraordinary accuracy. This process is ideal for artists producing limited edition prints, gallery-ready reproductions, or archival records that preserve both the visual and physical integrity of the original.

Reproducing the Texture of Original Artwork
In fine art, texture is more than a surface feature, it’s part of the expression. The physical depth of brushstrokes, palette knife work, and material layering gives a piece its presence. Yet most reproduction methods flatten this dimension. At 40 VISUALS, we specialize in textured art printing, a process that not only matches color and detail, but also recreates the surface texture of the original artwork. The result is a printed work that reflects both the look and the feel of the artist’s vision.
High-Resolution 3D Art Scanning
Textured Fine Art Printing
The swissQprint Kudu is one of the most advanced flatbed printers on the market. Unlike traditional giclée printing, which focuses solely on image reproduction, swissQprint technology allows us to simulate real texture by layering ink and varnish to build physical dimension into the surface of the print.
Recreates elements like:
• Raised brushstrokes
• Canvas grain
• Palette knife marks
• Mixed media buildup
Perfect for:
• Gallery-quality reproductions
• Collector-grade limited editions
• Artist proofs
• Archival copies with physical fidelity
