Ultra clear film provides excellent photorealistic printing quality. It is a great option for window applications because of its ability to be easily repositioned. Unlike some clear window cling vinyl, when removed within a year, it doesn’t leave behind any unwanted residue.

Where can clear window film be used?

Ultra clear film can be used on any glass or metal surface as an attention-grabbing wayfinding solution, product promotion, or decoration. They can be applied on the surface of the glass from the outside, or printed in reverse and applied from the inside to the subsurface of the glass with the graphic facing out.

Why use ultra clear film prints?

It’s great for fine details, it pops with white ink, and can be printed double-sided. The advantage to using ultra clear film is the ability to create complex prints with intricate designs that would be cumbersome to apply as a contour cut decal. The clear backing allows designs to be applied in a single piece, but have the appearance of being individually cut out. This makes installation much faster and easier.

Our white ink capabilities allow us to create white designs on this clear material. White ink is especially useful to add a layer of white behind color images which gives them an opaque base that makes colors pop! The clear adhesive backing allows for the design to be printed in reverse, with a layer of white ink, then the image again making it visible on both sides of the graphic.

How long do ultra clear film window cling graphics last?

With proper installation and care, ultra clear film graphics last for 1-3 years. They are printed with fade-resistant UV inks to withstand full sun exposure in windows. When they are ready to be removed, simply peel off. The adhesive is designed to leave no residue if removed within 1 year after application.
