The 26th annual IIDA / HD Expo Product Design Awards winners were announced by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) in collaboration with Hospitality Design magazine. The competition recognizes products that excel in seven different criteria: aesthetics, cost and value, design innovation, environmental responsibility, need, technical advancements and usage.

A panel of judges consisting of IIDA members Patricia Rotondo, senior principal at Lamar Johnson Collaborative; Matt Thompson, experience manager at OpenSquare; and Courtney Wilson, interior designer and principal at Echo Architecture + Interiors, evaluated the entries. Wilson commented on how the impressive innovations have set a new benchmark for the interior design industry.
