What You Need to Know

Forever 21 is set to make a U.S. comeback after closing all 350 of its stores earlier this year during bankruptcy proceedings. Parent company Authentic Brands Group says it’s in advanced talks with a retail partner to reopen new U.S. locations, part of a broader strategy to balance digital-first growth with a physical presence. The move signals that while e-commerce is central to the brand’s future, in-store experiences remain a key part of its identity.

To strengthen operations, Forever 21 has tapped three U.S. partners: Unique Brands will manage e-commerce and men’s wholesale, Mark Edwards Apparel will oversee women’s wholesale, and Kidz Concepts will handle kidswear. Authentic says this approach positions Forever 21 for long-term relevance by combining digital reach with wholesale and retail channels. For the fast-fashion chain, the revival aims to reconnect with Millennial and Gen Z shoppers while laying groundwork for future generations.
