If you’re looking to unleash your creativity in the retail, tradeshow, or event space, custom shaped SEG fabric graphic frames and light boxes have almost unlimited potential.

Most people stick to basic rectangular shape SEG frames as they think this is what we stock. This is not the case, as we cut each frame to order. We also have no minimum quantities, so if you have an idea for a custom display or prototype don’t hold yourself back!

Here are 9 custom shape SEG fabric frame and light box options to get those creative juices flowing.

1. Circle

Circles are very versatile, symmetrical, and can convey a wide range of messages. A circle SEG frame or light box can be used to create a halo effect around product displays, backlit logos, or as part of a larger circular display.

What is SEG?

SEG stands for silicone edge graphics, which are fabric prints with silicone beading sewn around the perimeter. SEG Frames and Light Boxes are created from aluminum extrusions that have channels to accept the SEG fabric. LED lights bars are attached within the frame extrusions to illuminate the fabric creating a light box. The result is a nice, clean look with minimal amount frame hardware showing around the edge for a frameless appearance.

SEG frame extrusions are made in long linear lines, then cut down per frame size. They are typically cut and connected at 90º angles to create rectangular frame shapes. However any custom shape can be made by adjusting the angle of connection, or bending the extrusions.
