Psychology research shows that first impressions are formed within a fraction of a second, making a positive first interaction vitally important. For eSafety, a leading provider of online safety training solutions, this meant revamping their office entryway with dimensional lettering that not only embodies their brand but also sets a welcoming tone for visitors. This blog post dives into the intricacies of this project, showcasing how plastic signs, particularly dimensional letters, can significantly elevate a workspace.

The Installation Process

The centerpiece of eSafety’s office makeover was the addition of their logo sign to a frosted glass partition in the entryway. Measuring 32” x 12”, the grey and green logo was crafted from plastic and painted to match eSafety’s exact brand colors. This process involved cutting the sign letters out of plastic, a material chosen for its durability and light weight, and then painting them to achieve the perfect shade of grey and green.

To ensure each dimensional letter was correctly installed, a cardboard stencil of the design was used. This allowed for the precise placement of each letter, ensuring the spacing and angle of each letter is consistent with the company’s logo. The letters were then attached to the glass surface using double-sided adhesive, providing a secure yet straightforward installation process. This method not only guarantees the stability of the signage but also allows for easy removal and updates, ensuring that eSafety’s office can evolve alongside their brand.

Why Dimensional Lettering?

Dimensional letters, or 3D signs for businesses, offer a unique way to bring a brand to life within a physical space. Unlike flat signs, dimensional letters create a sense of depth and sophistication, making them an ideal choice for businesses looking to make a statement. For eSafety, choosing painted signs and plastic signs meant embracing a modern and professional look that is consistent with their commitment to excellence.

The use of channel letters and cast signs, often seen in illuminated signs or painted signs sign letters, further shows the importance of visibility and brand presence. The project highlights how dimensional lettering can be used to suit various aesthetic and functional needs, from channel letter sign solutions to more subtle yet impactful painted signs.

eSafety also added a 19″ x 12.5″ contour-cut adhesive vinyl sign featuring eSafety’s logo, name, and suite number for easy navigation. Mounted on a glass plate with standoffs, it offers a sleek, floating appearance, maintaining a professional look and guiding visitors.
