The International Market Center in Las Vegas is a popular venue, attracting retailers, manufacturers and customers to the massive, multi-story product showroom. There are five floors dedicated to just bedding brands alone. In this competitive space, Serta Simmons Bedding needed to stand out to make an impact on customers. That’s when they tapped 40 VISUALS on the shoulder to carry out their vision.

Creating the Perfect Atmosphere

In the second building, you’ll find the Serta Simmons showroom area taking over the entire center section of the 12th floor. The space is used to showcase their Beautyrest Black, Serta Comfort Eco and Perfect Sleeper products, along with other products in the Serta Simmons lineup. SEG was the perfect fit for this display because of its cost-effectiveness, ease of installation, low shipping cost and its modern appearance.

The 9 ft. x 3.3 ft. backlit SEG displays were mounted on the showroom walls above the rows of mattresses to make the customers feel immersed in the company’s branding. The artwork highlights the elegance and features of their products, showcasing their quality materials and commitment to sustainability, and also matches the wall colors for a more cohesive look. The black walls in the Beautyrest Black section adds to the luxury and exclusivity of the product and are complimented by the upscale artwork in the SEG displays.

Non-lit vs. Backlit SEG Displays

The areas used a combination of backlit and non-lit SEG displays. The larger and wider SEG prints are backlit, which brings the artwork to life, while the smaller, more cost-effective 3 ft. x 3 ft. prints provide the look and feel of home decor you would find in a bedroom.

Backlit SEG displays feature a built-in light source, which illuminates the graphics and creates a high-impact, eye-catching display. This is a great option for trade shows and other events with a lot of competing signage as it draws attention to the display and is more visible in the busy expo spaces. Non-lit SEG displays, on the other hand, do not have a built-in light source and instead rely on ambient or direct lighting to illuminate the graphics. Backlit displays are typically more expensive while non-lit displays are a more cost-effective option. Want to find out which option is best for you? Contact us now to find out.

SEG is a great option for trade shows and expos because of its ease of installation, durability, and versatility.
