What You Need to Know

Babylist opened its New York Showroom on September 25 at 477 Broadway in SoHo. The space covers 20,000 square feet across two floors. It’s the company’s largest location and its second after the Beverly Hills flagship that opened in 2023. New CEO Jennifer Hyman says parents can research products online forever but never touch them, and packed stores don’t help them figure out what they need. The showroom sits in the middle. It’s built for city life, so you’ll see gear that fits small apartments and strollers that fold into a cab or subway car.

On the ground floor you can push strollers along a track designed like a New York street, learn car seat installation in a full size Volvo EX90 and try on baby carriers. A travel section has a taxi trunk and an overhead bin so you can see how your gear fits before a trip. Downstairs you’ll find a kitchen stocked with feeding gear, several nursery setups and a 600 square foot model apartment. You can book a registry appointment, and brands like Medela, Momcozy, Zarbee’s, Chicco and BabyBjörn have spaces inside. An event area and podcast studio host classes and panels too. Babylist brought in more than $750 million in revenue in 2025 and expects to reach $1 billion in sales this year.
