What You Need to Know
Bombas is moving into physical retail after more than a decade as a direct‑to‑consumer brand. You can visit its first store in New York City’s West Village now, with locations in Boca Raton opening later this month and Austin opening in early November. CEO Jason LaRose, who took the role in May, says the stores let the brand show a fuller assortment and will serve as a controlled test to learn from customers through the holiday season. The company points to the fact that 65% of sales in its categories happen in stores as support for the move.
Bombas continues to deepen wholesale ties even as it opens owned stores. You’ll find its products at Nordstrom, Dick’s and Scheels, and the brand is expanding into Target with a family-focused assortment and into DSW with a footwear-forward assortment after footwear grew to roughly 20% of sales this year. The company also keeps its social mission front and center, having donated more than 150 million socks, T-shirts and underwear to people in need.
