Build-A-Bear launched its first wholesale partnership with Walmart on March 16, 2026, bringing products to more than 1,500 stores nationwide through May 15. The partnership marks a defining growth milestone for the nearly 30 year old brand that has built its reputation around personalization and emotional connection. Chief Revenue Officer Dave Henderson said the Walmart deal allows Build-A-Bear to introduce its products to millions of new customers while staying true to creativity and individuality.

The Walmart selection includes Build-A-Bear Mini Beans, new collectible Micro Mini Beans and the Build-A-Bear x Bluey collection created with BBC Studios. Micro Mini Beans come in mystery pack singles, three packs and six packs with a surprise plush inside, tapping into the growing demand for collectible toys and blind bag surprises. In store displays highlight Build-A-Bear’s signature Choose Me, Name Me, Dress Me concept with styling and personalization options. Mini Beans feature hang tags inspired by the iconic birth certificate customers receive at Build-A-Bear Workshop stores. The products are also available online at Walmart.com while supplies last.
