What You Need to Know
The famous Nutella Cafe at 189 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago has reopened with a completely redesigned space. As the only standalone Nutella Cafe in the world, the location gives fans a fresh environment to enjoy their favorite hazelnut treats. The new design draws direct inspiration from the iconic Nutella jar, featuring a custom ordering station shaped like its silhouette, textured walls, and a bronze mesh ceiling. Dedicated spaces for merchandise, ordering, and dining help create a smoother visit for everyone.
Alongside the updated look, you will find an expanded menu with several new sweet options. Visitors can try Nutella tiramisu cups, mocha frappes, milkshakes, ice cream cones, and new gelato flavors from Vero Gelato. The cafe also added a Nutella peanut spread add-on option for classic menu items like crepes and waffles. Guests can grab fresh merchandise like tumblers, keychains, and mini totes while visiting.
Ferrero plans to add convenient new digital features soon. You will be able to order ahead for pickup or join a digital waitlist to get notified when your table is ready. These features make quick stops easier whether you work nearby or explore the Magnificent Mile as a tourist.
