What You Need to Know
Dior opened a pop-up in front of Deji Plaza in Nanjing, China to celebrate the arrival of its autumn 2026 collection. The structure is designed to look like a giant sliced cake, complete with an oversized strawberry and cherries on top. Inside, the patisserie theme continues with glass and ceramic cakes displayed on shelves alongside the collection. The decor features stucco and moiré finishes that nod to the Palace of Versailles, mixing the whimsy of a French pastry shop with the grandeur of French heritage. The pop-up runs through the end of June.
The cake concept extends beyond Nanjing. Dior is also bringing the theme into its flagship stores in Milan, with installations in the windows and spaces of its boutiques on Corso Venezia and in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
