What You Need to Know

eBay brings its online marketplace to life in New York City with The NYC Edit Market, a three day pop-up shop in SoHo where guests must list an item on eBay to gain entry. The market will feature coveted pieces inspired by The NYC Edit, eBay’s recently launched online editorial guide highlighting what style insiders in New York are buying and selling on the platform. Pre-loved items pulled from the closets of The NYC Edit contributors like Dara Allen, Owen Thiele and Emilia Petrarca will be sold alongside inventory from top eBay sellers. From hard-to-find vintage such as a Prada runway suit set to everyday staples like Doc Martens platform oxfords, the assortment at The NYC Edit Market reflects what’s in circulation on the resale market in New York City.

Beyond shopping and selling, the market comes to life through interactive moments. Guests can create custom accessories at a bespoke charm bar, curating one-of-a-kind sets to adorn belts and bags. Nearby, quick color analysis sessions offer a tailored moment of discovery, allowing guests to identify the shades that naturally complement their features, bringing a more personal lens to how they shop and style. Upon arrival at the NYC Edit Market, guests can either present an active listing from their eBay app or create one on-site, with dedicated listing stations guiding them through the process from photographing their item to uploading it in real time. A portion of the proceeds from the market will benefit Custom Collaborative, a non-profit which trains, mentors and advocates for low income immigrant women who want to work in fashion. The NYC Edit Market runs April 17 to 19, 2026 from 11am to 7pm at 489 Broome Street in New York.
