What You Need to Know

Jordan Brand is opening its first U.S. World of Flight flagship store in Philadelphia’s Historic District on October 10, marking a major expansion of the brand’s premium retail concept. The 6th World of Flight location globally, and the first in the US, will occupy a restored early-1900s Beaux Arts building, designed as a tribute to Philadelphia’s rich basketball heritage. The space blends luxury retail with storytelling, showcasing exclusive Jordan collections, custom styling, community events, and product drops.

Brand President Sarah Mensah said the store represents “the pinnacle of basketball culture,” linking Jordan’s legacy with Philadelphia’s sports passion and players like Jalen Hurts, who praised the brand’s commitment to local youth. The opening event will include a public block party with exclusive experiences. The store also strengthens Jordan Brand’s community ties, following years of investment in Philadelphia programs such as the Wings Scholars initiative and partnerships with the Jalen Hurts Foundation.
