What You Need to Know
Onitsuka Tiger opened its world’s largest global flagship store in Shinjuku, Tokyo on July 10, 2026. The store spans four floors and 1,837 square meters, designed by Milan-based Studio Dini Cataldi around a concept called “vertical narrative” that blends Japanese craftsmanship with Italian design. The exterior is a bold tiger-yellow concrete monolith with smooth and striped textures that stands as a new landmark in Shinjuku. Inside, each floor presents a different material palette and atmosphere. The first floor combines black flooring with warm Giallo Siena marble, the second features black terrazzo with yellow accents and 1970s Italian-inspired furniture, and the third is a refined gallery-like space with Rosso Lepanto marble and satin brass.
A mezzanine level introduces Onitsuka Tiger’s first-ever in-store amusement area, developed with GENDA GiGO Entertainment. The store brings all three of the brand’s collections under one roof for the first time: Heritage, which reinterprets archival designs; Contemporary, featuring Milan Fashion Week collections from ONITSUKA TIGER; and Formality, showcasing the brand’s formal footwear from THE ONITSUKA. The flagship is located at 11-26 Shinjuku 3-chome and is open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM.
