Salomon opened its first West Coast store in Los Angeles. You can visit the 1,900-square-foot location at 8620 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. The shop focuses on the Sportstyle range across footwear, apparel and accessories and pairs the brand’s outdoor-inspired look with SEG fabric and urban touches in a design by Portland firm Axiom. Jenny Taylor, Salomon North America’s vice president of marketing, said the site fits the brand’s goal to sit at the intersection of culture, lifestyle and performance and that the location will serve as a hub for product, events, and community connection.

The West Hollywood store is Salomon’s fourth retail location in North America, its first in California, and the third of four planned openings for 2025, joining stores in SoHo, Chicago and Woodbury Common. Parent company Amer Sports reported strong fiscal 2025 second-quarter results, with revenue rising 23 percent to $1.24 billion and net income of $18.2 million, and it raised third-quarter guidance to high-20-percent revenue growth and an adjusted operating margin at or above the high end of 12 to 13 percent, driven by growth in Salomon softgoods and an Arc’teryx reacceleration.
