What You Need to Know

Toys”R”Us is rolling out 10 new flagship stores and 20 seasonal holiday shops in the U.S. before year’s end through its partnership with Go! Retail Group. The upcoming flagships include locations in Maryland, California, Illinois, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, and more. These add to existing flagships at American Dream, Mall of America, Chicago, and Texas, along with the company’s Macy’s shop-in-shops and a standalone store at Dallas Fort Worth Airport. The brand is also expanding its reach to military families, with six new stores planned on Navy and military bases through its Nexcom partnership.

International growth remains a priority too. Toys”R”Us is moving into new markets such as Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Morocco, and Lebanon, while reestablishing operations in Turkey. It is also strengthening its presence in established regions like the U.K., Mexico, South Africa, Asia, and South Korea, where it’s testing new store concepts with partner Lotte.

Owned by WHP Global, which also manages brands like Anne Klein and Rag & Bone, Toys”R”Us says these expansions align with its holiday push. Events like Geoffrey’s Birthday on October 17 and the second Global Holiday Play Day are designed to build excitement ahead of December sales. The company now operates more than 1,500 stores and e-commerce sites across 35 countries.
