What You Need to Know
Uber Eats just made returns easier. The app now lets you send back eligible retail items purchased through Uber Eats without ever leaving home. You tap “Return an item” in your order history, select the item, explain why you’re returning it and request a courier pickup. Your refund processes as soon as the courier picks up the item, though bank processing times vary.
There is a return fee based on the courier’s time and distance, and the feature applies to retail items priced at $20 or more that fall within the store’s return policy. At launch, the feature works with thousands of retail locations across the US including Best Buy, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Pacsun and Petco. Uber says more retail partners are on the way, and you can still return items directly to the store at no cost if you prefer.
