Austin, Texas is America’s fastest-growing city and is a place that inspires innovation and design. In this energetic environment, Hill International, a global leader in managing construction risk, added a stunning wall covering to a meeting room at their Austin office to add life to the boring blank walls. The end result is a beautiful custom vinyl wall covering that ties the space together and exudes pride for the city.

About Hill International

Hill International is the nation’s 4th largest construction management (as agent) firm and provides program management, project management, construction management, and other consulting services to clients worldwide. Known for their attention to detail and their exceptional service, Hill has managed some of the largest projects globally, from airports, sports stadiums, healthcare facilities, performing arts centers, tunnels, bridges and more. The Austin office is just one of the many places where Hill International makes an impact globally.

About the Wall Covering Makeover Project

For this project, Hill International wanted to refresh one of their office meeting rooms. Understanding the importance of creating a collaborative environment, they approached 40 VISUALS with a few wall covering ideas. Several design mockups were considered and the chosen design features a black background with a white graphic of the Austin city skyline, including the Texas State Capitol, embodying spirit of the city.

The 24′ x 10′ wall was covered with six 48″ wide wall covering panels of our high-tack removable adhesive vinyl film. The graphic was installed by local Austin company American Color Labs, ensuring that each wall covering panel was perfectly lined up and the intricate artwork was flawlessly presented.

Branding with Custom Wall Coverings

Using custom wall coverings in office spaces is about more than just looks, it’s a way to brand the space. Wall coverings can transform a boring office into a statement; in Hill International’s case, the Austin skyline artwork is not only a nod to the city but also instills a sense of pride among the employees and visitors.

Office wall coverings, whether vinyl wall coverings, custom printed vinyl, or other commercial wall covering options, can serve as a reminder of a company’s vision, mission and value. They can influence the atmosphere of a space, making it more welcoming or professional, depending on the company culture. Custom office wallpaper, such as board room or meeting room wallpaper, provides a focal point and can spark conversation and inspiration.
