What You Need to Know

Walmart opened a next generation Supercenter in Jacksonville’s Oakleaf community on February 4, 2026. The 175,000 square foot store at 10000 Omni Drive brings 400 new jobs to the region and represents part of Walmart’s plan to build or convert more than 150 stores over the next several years. The location follows recent openings of a Supercenter in Apollo Beach and a Neighborhood Market in Ocala.

The Jacksonville store features a modern, open layout designed to blend physical and digital shopping. Customers can get delivery in as little as one hour including prescriptions, with convenient pickup options available. The store offers expanded home and apparel selections with elevated fashion brands, plus grocery offerings that include a bakery, deli and fresh sushi bar. Interactive digital touchpoints make shopping more efficient while the store carries Oakleaf merchandise to reflect the local community.
