Wallpaper Alternative: SEG Fabric Murals

In the corridor connecting buildings at the Latitude Corporate Office, SEG Fabric Graphics were used to create an inviting space. SEG is an acronym for “silicone edge graphic”. Silicone is sewn around the perimeter of fabric graphics that is then inserted into the channel on our aluminum SEG Frames.

In this case SEG frames were produced to fill each space from wall to wall, floor to ceiling. In total (4) 69.5″w x 83.5″h and (2) 305.75″w x 83.5″h SEG frames were wall mounted to fit each cavity in the space. Reverse miter frames were also produced to trim around electrical outlets giving them a professional finished look and full functionality.

The finished result is wall graphics that look like wallpaper murals but have all the benefits of SEG.

Seamless

SEG fabric graphics can be produced in sizes up to 10ft on the shortest size in one continuous piece. Wallpaper or vinyl wall graphics have to be produced and installed in panels with seams every 3-5 feet depending on the size of the roll of material.

Large fabric wall murals can be removed simply by pulling the silicone edging out of the aluminum frame track. The fabric can then be washed and dried as you would any other type of fabric. New graphics are just as easy to install.

Adhesive Vinyl wall murals and wallpaper has a limited lifespan before beginning to peel at the seams and come away from the wall. SEG fabric wall murals are secured to the wall with aluminum framing that will last indefinitely.
