Pack Animals is about to exploring the special bond between dogs and humans and improving the wellbeing of both parties. Their story began in 2020 when co-founders Chris and Andrea packed their bags and made a cross-country move from NYC to California, looking forward to welcoming their new puppy once they were settled in. Shortly after moving in, Chris experienced a triggering incident that later manifested as contamination OCD, which made daily life very challenging. They still adopted their puppy, Maggie, and discovered the new companion improved their relationship and mental health in ways neither of them anticipated.

Pack Animals and The Hub location at City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, California, is a space where this human-canine bond is explored. Recently, Pack Animals reached out to 40 VISUALS to produce two huge fabric wall murals using silicone edge graphics. These murals not only create a beautiful interior co-working space, but also illustrate the mission of Pack Animals.

Elevating Spaces with Fabric Murals for Walls

The project included two large wall-mounted SEG fabric graphics to create fabric wall murals, each measuring 20′ wide by 8′ tall. The murals feature cartoon-style drawings of people and dogs coexisting in various activities and places. The artwork palette consists of muted tones of green and dark pink and adds a playful, yet sophisticated, element to the space. To ensure the colors matched perfectly with existing signage, we printed multiple sample swatches of each color, a tedious process necessary for achieving the perfect color match.

Benefits of Using SEG Fabric for Wall Murals

SEG fabric, a type of tension fabric display frame, is a great option for creating stunning fabric wall murals. The silicone edge graphic (SEG) fabric prints provide vibrant, high-quality visuals that are sure to get noticed. The 7/8″ profile silver SEG fabric frames used for this project were mounted directly to the wall, offering a sleek “frameless” look.

One of the main advantages of SEG fabric is its versatility. The graphics are interchangeable, allowing for easy updates to the mural’s design. Additionally, the hardware breaks down for easier transport, and the fabric can be folded, both of which reduce shipping costs. SEG fabric offers numerous benefits beyond its visual appeal. The interchangeable signage solution makes it a practical choice for both long-term use and places that require frequent graphics updates.

Overhaul Your Space with Sustainable Wall Murals

Sustainability is another significant advantage of SEG fabric and frames. The murals for Pack Animals were printed on CleanRTex™ Soft Knit fabric, which is manufactured using 90% less water than comparable textiles and contains no microplastics. The silicone beading used in the frames is made from recycled materials, and the printing process uses water-based inks, making it an eco-friendly option. These sustainable features align with the growing demand for environmentally conscious products in the signage industry.

The SEG fabric wall murals created for Pack Animals are a prime example of the transformative power of high-quality office signage. These murals not only add to the interior design of the Pack Animals Hub but also embody the brand’s mission of celebrating the bond between humans and dogs. SEG fabric’s versatility, sustainability and cost-effectiveness make it an excellent choice for businesses looking to create impactful wall mural displays.
