What You Need to Know
Ray-Ban opened Ray-Ban House on May 4 at 62 Prince Street in SoHo, New York. The roughly 2,400-square-foot two-story townhouse was designed by parent company EssilorLuxottica’s internal creative team as a hybrid space that merges eyewear retail with food, music and cultural programming. Inside, satin metal curves, mirrored ceilings and deep red floors set the scene, with sunglasses displayed alongside vinyl records, books and collected objects rather than in a traditional retail layout. A food and beverage program led by chef Pasquale Cozzolino rounds out the experience with globally influenced small plates and daytime offerings.
Upstairs, a private VIP room offers appointments and one-of-one frame customization, including the option to design custom Wayfarer Puffer Diamond sunglasses with your choice of gemstones and frame finishes. The space debuted as a Met Gala after-party venue and hosted a live performance by Oscar and the Wolf, with global ambassador Jennie in attendance. Ray-Ban describes it not as a flagship or concept store, but as a place to return to, positioning the brand as a cultural platform rather than a traditional retailer.
